About Fusiliers Café at Gun Hill

Gun Hill Signal Station was built two years after the 1816 revolt of the enslaved, as one of a chain of stations that signalled the approach of ships and any trouble on the island. Restored by the Barbados National Trust, it has a small café, the Fusiliers Café, and views across the green centre of the island to the sea.
