About Barbados Licensing Authority
To drive in Barbados you need a valid driving licence from home and a visitor’s driving permit, issued by the car-hire firms or the Barbados Licensing Authority. Visit Barbados says the permit is valid for two months; check the current fee when you collect your car. Remember: drive on the left, and seatbelts are compulsory.
