The Tides
A seaside house with an art gallery
About The Tides
The Tides is set in what was once a classic Barbadian seaside home, built after the Second World War from coral stone and mahogany, and the restaurant says it feels like a tree house over the turquoise water. Tables spread across the oceanfront Central Lanai and a two-level garden gazebo, there is an air-conditioned cocktail lounge hung with Caribbean art, and the gallery is part of the visit. Lunch, Sunday lunch, an à la carte dinner and a vegan menu are all published on its site.
