The Garrison Savannah
Racing on the old parade ground

About The Garrison Savannah
In its early days the Garrison Savannah doubled as a cricket ground, and it has been a horse-racing venue since the 19th century. Today it is the home of the Barbados Turf Club, which runs the racing calendar, including the Sandy Lane Gold Cup in March, and the stands look over a track ringed by the historic Garrison buildings.
